Girls Bravo is a funny show, or at least it was during series one. The art work was the usual for a show of this type, nothing spectacular, but good all round.
The music had a few weird moments, they obviously had gone for suspense music on a few occasions, and blew it. Though the OP and ED are well worth listening to.
I love the characters, though i find Yukinari a bit of a wimp at first, he grew on me. The main thing this show has going for it, is its lack of depth. You read that right, it’s lack of depth is a bonus
The basic story is a tried and true, boy meets girl and falls in love routine, after that they keep the story simple and clean. The few twists that occur are nothing more than to drive the core story.
One thing about the show, is that its chock full of ecchi, almost overly much so. There were a few times I thought it was to much, but it wasn’t to bad after i grew numb to it hehe
The basic story is about Miharu and Yukinari, who fall in love with each other when they first meet. Miharu comes from Seiran, which seems to be a hidden planet ( i could never quiet get into this aspect to be honest). Yukinari suffers from a severe fear of girls, when they touch him he breaks out in hives and passes out. Somehow he was transported to Seiran where he meets Miharu, the only girl he can touch. Miharu has watched him for a long time already in her bath, and is in love with him. Naturally he falls in love with her aswell.
When he returns to Seiran, Miharu comes along for the ride.
The rest of the series focuses on their relationship, aswell as the relationships between the other characters who come along aswell. Miharu has a habit of getting into trouble though, since she’s a bit naive, and has the ability to blow stuff up when she gets upset.
Most other shows build up to the love confession, with subtle but no out and out indications of love between the leads. However with GB from the outset its clear that they both love each other.
Overview of series 2, and episode summary’s to follow, for now enjoy the Opening and ending tracks, just for you
