About the Manga

No cover image this time because it NSFW and I like to keep my blog open to all as much as possible.

Sadly though this is one of those that practically had my puking my guts down the toilet. It has everything I despise about the yaoi genre.

Firstly a small confession, this volume is one of a bare few (and I can count them all on one hand) that I failed to finish reading through fully. So, it could have become the best thing since sliced bread after I gave up, but I doubt it.

Right, lets get into it. The cover art should have been the only warning I needed really, I’ve never seen such a tacky cover design, and I’ve seen some bad un’s in my time.

The art in this volume is horrendous, I’ve seen kiddies colouring books that had better looking art than this.

Most of the art looks like it was drawn with a marker pen, with big thick black lines. It’s also one of the most inconsistent character design volumes I’ve ever seen. The title is a warning as well, yes there is sex in this volume, and frankly I don’t see how anyone can find it erotic, since the art is so bad, and the guys fishing tackle is so freakily drawn as to be disturbing.

Sadly the art only gets worse throughout what I read. I often found myself wondering how anything this bad could have been licensed, and what the publishers were thing about releasing it.

Sadly the reason behind such horrendous art becomes clear when you realise what your reading is an OEL, one of the worst attempts of OEL at that.

The stories are pathetic attempts to justify rape (yup this is one of those where rape is perfectly fine), and those I read had no semblance of a decent, or even possible story. Frankly by the time I gave up, just after half way, I’d not even seen a potential hint of story.

This is a Yaoi Press release and I have to wonder if they actually sold any copies of this >.<

It definitely goes on my Junk Pile, I’ve never read anything that deserves a place on my Junk Pile more than this does.
