About the Mangaka

Unfortunately I couldn’t find anything on KwangHyun Seo, who wrote the story, nor on JinHo Ko who did the art. If anyone has any info please drop me a line through the contact me page.

About the Manga

I’m in love!! Okay this volume revived my flagging liking of this series.

I still feel the JinHo is trying to hard with this series, but this time I didn’t mind at all. I’ve been waiting for this series to really grab me, to jump up and head mutt me with it’s uniqueness, and guess what, it has, and kicked me for good measure as well hehe

One of the main saving graces for me this time was Chan-Bee, she’s uber in this volume, and hot doing it :D

I’m still not overly fond of the character designs, but I have to admit that they do seem to fit well with the story. However this volume JinHo pulls out the big guns, and those in the form of a revamped sexy biker chick Chan-Bee.

In previous volumes she’s been cute, but a bit plain. However her design in this volume is sexy, hard, and definitely not a girl to mess with. Odd thing though is that she’s a totally new character, everything about her has changed from previous volumes, not just her looks but personality as well.

I have to admit I like the new looking Chan-Bee better, especially with the way she acts these days hehe.

Da-Il also undergoes a not so subtle character design change, in fact if you look at him in volume one and the way he is now, it’s almost as if they’re two separate characters, which I have to admit is a bit unnerving. However I have to admit I do also like him better this volume.

The story is totally freaked out as well this volume hehe. I love the insane twists we get this volume, and I have to admit it these twists that revived my waning like of the series. However I do find myself wondering just where the story is going now, I thought I had it figured out, but with this volume it’s thrown my assumptions out the window.

This volumes story is weird, but interesting, and I found the new addition of classical western stories and mythology, as well as historical figures to be really intriguing. The addition of the likes of Snow White, King Arthur and Wild Bill was a novel idea. Altering them the way KwangHyun does results in a hysterical variant that I couldn’t help but enjoy.

My only worry now though is the remaining number of volumes. I’m hoping this is one of those series that is still ongoing, so not all volumes are licensed. Because it’s really starting to grow on me and I want to see it reach a good ending rather than a rushed one.

Yen Press did their usual good job, or is that a better job? I found the story flowed better this volume than in previous volumes, or is that just because I enjoyed it more?
