They want us to all become mindless drones that only read or watch things on an approved material list. Thinking on it stuff that has been arround for years, Tom & Jerry, Buggs Bunny, Simpsons, pretty juch every action movie ever made, are all now going to become illegal.

Ignoring the main section of the bill there, my brain hung up on the first point.

"An act which threatens or appears to threaten a person’s life"?
A Bill really got put through with vague, blanket effect wording like that?
How? x_x I mean... "an act", any act which "threatens or appears to threaten"? Seriously? x_x
I can't even form a concrete list of all the things that would cover. It would be huge.

It's actually a lot worse that it sounds.

If you're not politically correct, you WILL be charged.

Heck, in that context, that makes the Bible (and ironically enough, the Roman Catholic Church), Greek Mythology, Christian Jacq (yes the books have a fair amount of violence), and pretty much most forms of art, speech, and human behavior.

Taken to it's extreme, I could charge a person just because he or she exists and can be detrimental to society due to race, skin colour, or even attitude. Because his/her existence is an act that threatens or appears to threaten someone else's life.

And no, it would not stop one psycho from killing his or her partner. It would stop, though, the very notion of free thought. That's a lot worse.
